Tamara Minhas (geb. Volgger) studierte Kunstgeschichte im Hauptfach und Geschichte in Nebenfach an der Universität Stuttgart. Ihren Master in Kunstgeschichte absolviert sie an der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg mit Eucor-Aufenthalten am KIT Karlsruhe und an der Universität Basel.
