In the first chapter the scene is set, the armies are facing each other prepared for war, when we see Arjuna in a deluded and miserable condition as he breaks down on the battle field. In the second chapter, the compassionate Lord, Sri Krishna begins to impart knowledge to Arjuna. In this chapter he deals specifically with the sankhya philosophy.
