Couldn't put this book down. I have just come back from New Zealand and visited the places described in the book and felt like I was back there again! The story was well done even though it was a bit far fetched in places. From comments made I don't think I could have read the previous book however it was not necessary as I was able to enjoy it as a stand alone book. Made me realise what a difficult job social services do and some of the problems they have to face, hats off to them all!

A gripping storyline so cleverly written & very emotive. Thoroughly enjoyed this book along with all Susan Lewis' work
