Muffin and Ziggy are complete opposites; they have no chance of becoming friends. That is, until the two guinea pigs discover a door at the back of their new hutch. A door…or is it a portal?
Once they cross the threshold, Muffin and Ziggy are whisked off to Piggieland, where no guinea pig is complete without the perfect party outfit. Feather boa? For sure! Cape? Born to wear one!
But the residents of Piggieland need help, and Muffin and Ziggy are just the pigs for the job. They’ll have to come together if they want to succeed!

Kit Holliday is an Aussie author living in the US (which puts her much closer to the natural habitat of guinea pigs and capybaras—hooray!). She loves sparkly things, silly jokes, and carrot cake, and puts as many of these in her stories as possible. When she’s not dreaming up magical worlds, she spends her time going on adventures with her fabulous family and her cheeky dog.
Fran Brylewska and David Brylewski met while studying at Newport Film School in the early ’90s. After graduation, they both moved to London and went on to have very successful careers in film and television animation before forming their own illustration company, Dizzy Devil Designs, in 1997. Now living in Dorset with their two grown-up kids, they continue to work together creating fun children’s illustrations in both traditional and digital mediums.
