Sonic the Hedgehog

FOREWORD: Finally, after what felt like a long time, it’s finally here: Issue 36. REVIEW: The chao race continues, as well as the M Y S T E R Y with the hooded figure ;). Will Sonic and Co. be able to overcome this Spiderman-like ultimatum from the last issue? What is this hooded figure after? Only one way to find out ;). MY OPINION: I’m glad that the writers of Sonic IDW made Tails great. This is the reason why I read the comic-books. I can never imagine the comic-books being a 100% faithful adaptation to the games (…but sadly, Shadow is still not so great in this series. Why can't he be written in sort of the same way as he was in the Archie comics?). I am happy that Sonic IDW is its own thing. This is the reason why Tails is, and always will be, one of my favorite Sonic-characters of all time. FINAL SCORE: I give this issue a 4/5. As for the Chao Race-arc, I will give it a 3/5. This is what every arc finale should be like. Great writing, great characters, great villian, very wholesome ending. I love Tails and Belle's dynamic.
