This book contains the thoroughly refereed technical papers presented in six workshops collocated with the International Conference on Software Technologies: Applications and Foundations, STAF 2016, held in Vienna, Austria, in July 2016. The six workshops whose papers are included in this volume are: DataMod, GCM, HOFM, MELO, SEMS, and VeryComp. The 33 full and 3 short papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 53 submissions.
