About the author

Dr. Abu Nasar is presently working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Aligarh Muslim University.

He has received his PhD  and done postdoctoral work at the prestigious organization, Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University. He has published over three dozen research papers in reputed journals.

His areas of interest include physical chemistry, environmental chemistry and materials science.

A research paper presented by him at the International Conference on “Advanced Semiconductor Devices and Microsystems” held at Smolenice, Slovakia during Oct. 20-24, 1996 was selected as one of the best papers of the Conference. In the recognition of his work, Dr. Nasar has received the Young Scientists’ and Young Metallurgists’ Awards by the Indian Science Congress Association and the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, respectively.
