Wendy Wasserstein is one of America's great comic writers--one who always has a serious point to her humor. The late Wendy Wasserstein was the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright of The Heidi Chronicles, which also won a Tony Award. Her other plays include The Sisters Rosensweig, Uncommon Women and Others, Isn't It Romantic, and An American Daughter. She was also the author of Shiksa Goddess.
