This book offers comprehensive coverage of:
Shuvasish Choudhury is a Ph.D. graduate from Assam University, Silchar, and Assistant Professor of Plant Biology in the Department of Life Science and Bioinformatics, Assam University, Silchar, India. He is extensively working on understanding the biochemical, molecular, and metabolomic basis of abiotic stress responses and tolerance in field crops. His research interests include arsenic and acid soil stress responses in rice, biochar for arsenic and heavy metal mitigation in agro-ecosystem, and drought stress responses in field crops. His current work focuses on abiotic stress mitigation through nutrient management strategies, seed priming technology, and environmentally sustainable approaches.
Debojyoti Moulick is a Ph.D. graduate from University of Kalyani, India, and a Research Associate in the Plant Stress Biology and Metabolomics Laboratory (CIL), Department of Life Science and Bioinformatics, Assam University, Silchar, India, under the Research Associateship (RA) program of Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. His research interest includes understanding agro-ecotoxicology and proposing suitable mitigation of options. He has extensively worked on arsenic stress mitigation in rice using seed priming technology and related mitigation approaches.
