Jojo The Dreamer by Sherry Rollins, Illustrated by Jeremy Rollins Reviewed by Deborah Elias, Author & Illustrator, UK Tues 16th September Jojo The Dreamer is the first published book in a series of 8 from Author Sherry Rollins and features a little boy who can be anything he dreams to be, from an astronaut, an Indiana Jones type adventurer or even a storm chaser. The story is laid out with vivid cartoon-like illustrations by Jeremy Rollins that, in this world of video games, will really engage with children. Jojo himself has a very recognisable, cool look and I can see children being able to immediately identify with him in all future books. The rhymes are easy for children to follow and will help to teach those just learning the written word and their phonics. However the best part of this book is the underlying message that children have no limit to their potential. Whatever Jojo dreams, he can be and so can they too! I really like the positive message that this book (and I assume future books) teaches children: to use their imagination and dream big!

I've read this once I was a kid and I still love it! I'm 11 now and I've read this when I was 4. I thought google would take it away LIKE THEY DID TO GOOGLE MUSIC but they didnt. I'm glad it's still here gives me some memories!
