Three Shots to the Wind

I loved Three Shots to the Wind, the third volume of Chloe Jackson Sea Glass Saloon Mystery. With this series, Sherry Harris has once again created a main character who feels so lifelike that she could be a real friend. I have always enjoyed Chloe's interaction with Joaquín and Michael and have grown to appreciate her relationship with Vivi. In this novel, my newest favorite book in the series, I came to know and understand Chloe even better as we get to meet Chloe's brothers and watch the brotherly nonsense and the love that they share. On a darker side, we also learn more about her when someone from her past is murdered, and as Chloe searches for the killer (you knew she would) we sympathize with her as she discovers that he was a different person than the man she thought she knew.
