Información sobre este eBook

In the year 1908 Holmes believed himself to be in retirement. Watson was once again in private practice and unwed. Mrs. Hudson had gone to Sussex to act as Holmes's housekeeper. But the fates had agreed that Martha Hudson and John Watson should be together. Or had they? When Dr. Watson proposes to Martha Hudson it sets off a series of events that only Sherlock Holmes can deal with. Watson has already had three wives, all have died under unfortunate circumstances. Colm Campbell, Martha Hudson's nephew, thinks there is more here than meets the eye. Is Watson just unlucky or are the deaths suspicious? Holmes must come to his best friends defence.

Kieran McMullen is an author with a background as varied as his favorite character Dr. John H. Watson. McMullen grew up in the seashore town of Northport on Long Island's North shore. Here he learned a love of fishing and sailing. He then spent twenty-two years on active duty in the US Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel after serving in the Gulf War. He was also a member of the Grady County Volunteer Fire Department. McMullen has been involved in training horse teams and artillery for Civil War reenacting since the early 1980s and holds a BA in History from St. John s University and an MA in Human Resources from Pepperdine. Kieran and his wife Helen along with horses and Irish Wolfhounds now live just north of Darien, Georgia.
