For anyone who’s tried to meditate and found
the experience disappointing – you couldn’t seem to move past the interior
dialogue and into a meditative state – this
book gives you powerful insights into the reasons why and shows you how to
navigate your way through. Even the long-seasoned meditator will come away with
new realizations and techniques.
There are three essentials to really rich,
deep, satisfying meditation, which this book goes into in depth. Once you
understand these, the way is paved for you to enjoy truly beautiful, deep and
blissful meditation.
Sharon Rose Summers lives just outside Austin, Texas in a sweet little house surrounded by a big organic garden with her sweethear, an adorable kitty, and a parcel of chickens.
Sharon started meditating at age fifteen - back in the stone age, when meditation was still looked upon with suspicion - and has been meditating ever since. For many years, she worked in international humanitarian aid which, besides being a privilege of itself, meant that she got to travel in Africa, South Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and the Caribbean — over thirty countries altogether — and had the opportunity to explore different cultures and meditative traditions. Her most recent journey was a trip to India for a month-long silent retreat at a monastery in Andhra Pradesh.
Sharon is dedicated to growing in consciousness and connecting with a higher source, and she hopes to help others do the same.
