Anastasia reist nach Fuerteventura, um Fotos für einen Reiseführer zu machen. Im Hotel begegnet sie Cari, die als Animateurin im Hotel arbeitet und verliebt sich auf den ersten Blick in sie. Ziemlich schnell kommen sich die beiden näher, aber mit der Zuneigung kommen auch die Missverständnisse. Als Anastasias bester Freund Mateo spontan auftaucht, bringt er alles durcheinander und entfacht Caris Eifersucht. Caris neuer Kollege Joschi, der sofort ein Auge auf Cari wirft, bringt ebenfalls sehr viel Unruhe zwischen die Liebenden. Cari beteuert zwar, dass sie nichts von ihm will, aber Anastasias Eifersucht lässt sich nicht bändigen. Ganz unbegründet scheint ihre Eifersucht auch nicht zu sein, denn Cari verbringt auf einmal viel Zeit mit Joschi.
