About this ebook

When 16-year-old rich kid Dylan meets larger than life teenage MMA fighter Santana it's the beginning of an unlikely friendship that will change him forever.

Set in the rough and tumble world of an MMA gym in Los Angeles, Single Leg is a funny, deeply moving story of two people forced to face their greatest fears.

If you liked RJ Palacio's novel Wonder, or John Greene's The Fault In Our Stars–or you just enjoy a story that can make you laugh and cry (sometimes at the same time), then this might just be the book for you.

The author Sean Black is the million-selling, award-winning author of the Ryan Lock series. He is also the only amputee to ever become a European champion in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu while competing against able-bodied Jiu Jitsu players. After losing dozen of matches, in Paris in 2023 he finally won gold at the IBJJF European championships.

a lovely book about resilience and acceptance. be a disabled young adult myself, this book spoke to my soul. I was truly smitten with all the characters and genuinely enjoyed watching Dylan's growth throughout the book. this book does not discriminate, it's a must read for everyone!
