 This book goes through the level 2 medicine ball routine and the level 2 boxing mitt routine. The level 2 mitt routine you start working on some basic defense. In Bolinger boxing program, we don't just teach blocking as a single act, we teach block and counter. There is also a chapter that has a more advanced heavy bag routine. The medicine ball routine level 2 and 3 are advanced routines, you should be in fair shape when starting on those, but good for full body workouts. The level 2 mitt works starts you out in full set of defensive combos as well as defense and counters. 

About the author

 Master KickBoxer Scott Bolinger founded the Bolinger KickBoxing /WarriorRage KickBoxing system. He started the study of martial arts in 1984, starting with weapons (nunchakus, stars, throwing knifes), and then got enrolled in ShotoKan Karate. Later moved the study into Tae Kwon Do, Kenpo, Jukaido, Chinese KickBoxing, Boxing, wrestling, weight lifting, plymetrics which ended up in the development of the Bolinger KickBoxing system and then publishing the WarriorRage Kickboxing volume I and volume II, The Officials guide to Sport Fighting and the start up of the National Self-Defense Solutions. The NSDS primary focus is to instruct self-defense that can be used in a profession, teaching both self-defense and restraints as shown on the self defense tab above. The techniques can be helpful in many jobs such as law enforcement, EMT, schools, human services, and security. The entire Bolinger Kickboxing program which is on the above CD tab, can help with several ways to condition your body, plan training routines and has been used to help prepare fighters for competitions such as kickboxing, continuous point sparring, karate, tae kwon do, boxing and MMA.
