About this ebook

Bound by fate to the man she's sworn to defy.

Revered for her magical ability, Naya is the most treasured omega in her parent’s empire. Her birth heralded an era of peace, and her people eagerly anticipate the day she will ascend to the throne.

But finding her true mate is key to her successful rule. And no matter how hard she searches, Naya can’t find the one who ignites the profound attraction her alpha is destined to arouse.

Then one night, she is stolen.

Akoro, an alpha motivated by vengeance and violence, takes her to a distant land where her powers are useless.

A cold-hearted king, he reveals the full extent of his cruelty, but despite his overbearing nature and growing fixation with her, he demands she help him conquer her empire.

Naya refuses, and vows to safeguard her people from this savage beast.

But then Akoro awakens the primal craving she’s been desperate to find. The one that confirms that he is her true mate.

BEWARE: This story is only for those who love a cruel, overbearing, jealous hero who wasn’t expecting to find a woman so perfect who is his mate. Please see author website for full warnings.

So this book builds on the next generation of characters in a world that the author created started in "Myth of Omega: Crave" series. Readers get to see how much the world has (or hasn't) changed since Drocco and the Lox took the empire over. Now that lives are ready to be handed over into the hands of their children, can fated love be found. Like with most of the author's books, don't expect to love or like the MMC. Males are known in this world for putting the 'alpha' in alphhole. Emotional abuse and down-right stubbornness are everyday traits. While the omegas are 'suppose to' (at least according to the Alphas😒🙄) be men and mild, I have yet to find a single character that meets those qualifications so the omegas have the Alphas completely fooled. This book is a little slow getting started and it's just as hard getting through some scenes in this book as it was in her other. The MMC is definitely the villain you will love to hate in this series. The guy you keep hoping finally

My favorite omega so far. All omega traits plus strong, tough and talented enough to best any Alpha in combat. Chef's kiss. Well written dark romance from a talented writer. I always look for her new books. Yes it's technically the alpha/omega verse smutty romance but enhanced by great skill and creativity. Even if you cut out all the "fun" stuff I really enjoy her writing, point of view, and that she reflects different cultures in her series. My favorite is the OWN (Shaya, Kardos) omega trilogy! (TW. very dark, dubious consent material)

Legacy stories are usually tricky because you are not only invested on the story but there's also a certain attachment to the characters that used to be the focus on the previous books. This book did a great job balancing between creating a character with her own thoughts and a unique relationship with her parents while keeping them true to their personality without ruining their image for the sake of the plot. I enjoyed reading about a new person while getting to revisit the other characters and knowing how they're doing. It felt pretty balanced between the romance/steam while maintaining the plot and keeping me reading until it was over. Really enjoyed it.
