When this book hit my iPad, I jumped straight into it, and only stopped for a few hours sleep, I was captivated from the first page. The audio was superb with both narrators, each bringing the main character to life and giving me even more enjoyment. Erin’s voice is one that makes you feel familiar to, like a friend telling her side of the story. Teddy…oh Teddy is one of my favorite narrators, he ticks every box and understands emotion and delivers all the sentiments perfectly. I don’t want to take any attention away from the actual story, which has been one of my favs in this series. A case is discussed with the team at Jameson Force Security that the government has asked help with. Ladd McDermott wasn’t paying too much attention until he hears a name from his past.. Greer Hathaway wasn’t just an old fling, she was his ex fiancée more than a decade ago. And she’s gone missing in El Salvador. Ladd takes no time in saying that he will be the first to head there and rescue Greer. The story is action packed, learning about their past and dealing with the current situation which isn’t an easy fix. One thing that was effortless, the connection they still feel towards each other that’s also explosive. Whether you've been following the series, or picking up this standalone novel, you will be in for a gripping ride.

Audio Review Another wonderful action packed second chance romance from Sawyer Bennett and Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon did a fantastic job bringing the characters and their journey to life. Code Name : Disavowed is book 8 in the Jameson Force Security Series and Ladd and his ex fiancée Greer’s journey is the perfect addition to this series that’s mixed with suspense, passion and love. This couple didn’t part amicably and years later they both still holds grudge, they both feel bitter and twisted but when Greer needs rescuing from Central America it was always going to be Ladd who steps up to rescue her but does this mean the start of something new or will the past be too much to forgive. You will need to read or listen to the book to find that out. Ms Bennett is becoming the queen of romantic suspense because she certainly knows how to write a intriguing romance that’s mixed with suspense, mystery, drama and passion and like all the previous books in this series this story is fast paced and captivating from the first page to the last line. The characters are easy to like and if second chances/ suspense stories are your jam you won’t want to miss this one.

I loved this breathtaking second chance romance! Jameson Force Security is enlisted to rescue a CIA agent who had been captured in Central America. They have unfinished business and he wants to finally have closure from the woman he has never forgotten. CIA Agent, Greer Hathaway, lives for her job. It is all she has left after losing the only man she has ever loved. When Ladd rescues her, she thinks she might have the chance she has always wanted to make things right with him. But their first meeting doesn't go as planned, and after discovering she has no job, she must try to figure out her next move. When her past comes back to take vengeance, she turns to Ladd and JFS to help her put an end to the threat. As Ladd and Greer work together, they resolve the misunderstandings that tore them apart, and the love they thought was buried is back, stronger than ever. Just when they start to believe they have a future together, they get blindsided. Now it's a race against time to finish what they started before they are both destroyed. I loved this thrilling, heart-pounding, and sexy story! The twists and turns had me completely riveted and took my breath away. Ladd and Greer are so great together and their chemistry is off the charts. Of course the whole Jameson family are essential to this story being over protective and supportive, but having fun together as well. This series continues to be so exciting and provocative, I can't get enough of Jameson Force Security!
