'Patman' is a mysterious vigilante who comes to the rescue, if one gives the 'Chicken' signal. He has a craftily designed and powerful car and highly advanced gadgets which he uses to help the needy. Read about his experiences in fighting crime of all nature, in his hometown. In another story, an alien lands his spaceship. in a Bihar village instead of Hollywood, USA. Read about his amusing adventures as he interacts with the locals. A set of short stories highlighting social issues like cleanliness and the struggle faced by female athletes who bring laurels to the country at the highest level.

Author is a keen observer. He has not missed the minutest details of characters and surroundings of a typical middle class society in India. While reading the book we are transported into the story and can corelate ourselves with one of the characters. I thank Saurav for playing back a flashback of my childhood. Looking forward to more writings from his pen.

About the author
Saurav Anand was born and brought up in Patna, Bihar. An Engineer and MBA by education, he started writing small blog posts filled with nostalgic stories from a childhood spent in the narrow lanes of Patna. Writing in his mother tongue Hindi, he was able to add a unique humorous flavor to the already fun filled stories. Gradually, he moved on to write short stories and has published an e-book 'Pahli Fuhaar' with a collection of 9 of those stories in 2016. This recent collection of stories is set against the city of his birth, Patna.
