Gegenstand des vorliegenden Beitrags ist die Entwicklung eines korpusinduzierten Ansatzes für den Bereich der lexikalischen Semantik. Wir gehen aus von einer grundlegenden Unterscheidung zwischen deduktiv-taxonomischem und induktiv-systemischem Kollokationsbegriff und ordnen dabei das Konzept des kombinatorischen Profils in einen methodisch-analytischen Rahmen ein, der sowohl anhand einer innersprachlich orientierten als auch einer sprachvergleichend angelegten Fallstudie zur lexikalisch-syntaktischen Kombinatorik von handlungsdispositionsbezeichnenden Substantiven im Französischen und im Deutschen umgesetzt wird.
