I thought I was going to get a nice short romance, instead I got this. The writing is very immature and has no sense of direction, seems like the author had an idea but just executed it horribly. Nothing seems organic, I understand it's only 80 pages but if you're unable to fully develop the characters in those pages, maybe add more pages. I felt like I was reading a teenagers view on romance, it just made me think the writer was inexperienced when it came to romance and human interaction. Very odd. Despite it only being 80 pages, I still couldn't finish the book. I've never cringed and questioned the logic of a book so much within the first chapter of a book, FIRST CHAPTER. I managed to extend my patience to page 24 before binning this book, so in conclusion, not worth it. The book is free and it's still not worth it, think about that...

If you like your book to be hoy, short, filthy with OTT alpha H, then you are in the right place. It's safe read, though it's mafia theme. No OM. No OW. No triggers. The plot was good: from bodyguard to forever. The heroine was independent one, though I wished that she's bit more badass since she's mafia's daughter and all. All in all good.

Loved this short, sexy, hot, suspenseful story! Isabella/Selena is going to college and is approached and threatened by the Moretti family. She calls her mob boss father and he sends Gabriel to protect her. She's always had a crush on him. He sees her all grown up now and falls for her. Love the ending!
