About this ebook

Glass artist Savannah Smith expected a marriage proposal for Thanksgiving—just not from her strong, silent, super-hot neighbor. But when misplaced mail and a wayward can of paint lands them in a compromising position right as her family arrives for dinner, they assume he’s “The One” she’s been talking about.

Then his family shows up.

Fate dealt a crippling blow to paramedic Beau Montgomery’s heart, and he isn’t about to put it at risk again. Except, with his mother crying tears of joy over his surprise engagement to the sexy little blonde next door, he can’t bring himself to ruin her “Christmas miracle.”

Somewhere between the paint can to the head and the chaotic family trip to the ER, Beau manages to talk Savannah into being his fake fiancée long enough to survive the holidays.

If, of course, they don’t fall in love first...

He needs the kind of rescue only she can provide...

Ms. Beck is an author that I occasionally read. I requested an ARC of Emergency Engagement from NetGalley and Entangled in exchange for an honest review. After the first few pages I was not impressed. There were some funny moments but it was slow going for a while in my opinion. I am glad that I did not throw in the towel because the story found it's voice rather quickly. This story spoke to me. Losing someone you love is never easy but losing two of the most important people in your life would be a hard thing to bounce back from. So it's no surprise that Beau has turned into a cynic. So I loved it when vibrant, artistic, unorganized Savannah blew into his life. She was the shock he needed to bring him back to life and a good complement to his closed off personality. Emergency Engagement had a slow build up but finished perfectly. 3.5 Stars

Loved this fun, sexy, sweet read. Savannah starts a hilarious chain of events that not only gets her engaged to her sexy neighbor the first time she meets him but it also takes her on the wildest ride of her life. Beau simply wanted the neighbor to turn the noise down a notch now he has a mother that is over the moon about his impending nuptials, a fiancee he just met and an unexpected trip to the ER. You don't want to miss this one, I highly recommend it. As are all of Ms. Beck's books, this one is well written, has great characters, and will leave you smiling!

This really hurt me having to give this 4 stars instead of 5. Was such a brilliant book from start till almost finish, I found myself not wanting this to end. But once it got to the pregnant stage it got really boring and dragged on. Most of it I felt was just letters on a page with the purpose to fill up and add more pages to the book. Really enjoyed the read though, read it from start to finish none stop. I also would have liked to have her check in on him a few more times and stretched it out a bit more.
