Diana in California
The Honeybuns in this series are a bunch of brothers who are each unique, but who are all strong, protective and chivalrous. Since the first book in the series Percy and Brita, have been important parts of all the stories. She is a cop, he is a lawyer. She doesn't want Percy's chivalry, his protection, because she takes it that he doesn't think she is able to take care of herself and others. Some time back, Percy offended Brita with his he-man stuff, and they broke up. He never accepted it, has done everything he could to get back together. She can't take that he is always trying to protect her. This time, Brita is the one who needs help. She walked in on the aftermath of a murder, then was attacked and lost her memory of who she was. She runs, knowing something is wrong, but Percy finds her and the family closes around her to help. Even without her memories, she is not one to let these men take the lead, but ultimately, she has to accept their help. There is a lot of action, investigation, there are evil scientist, a horrible plot, fighting against hopeless odds, and a happy ending.I really enjoyed this story. I received and ARC copy of this book and this is an honest review.
