Oh my freakin flying flip flops! This is so much fun! I love a cozy series that can have a story without a murder. This keeper has plenty of work tracking down badly behaving artifacts! A word to the wise, do not read these in bed if you don't sleep alone. I might have awakened my husband with my laughing! Sorry, hunny. Totally clean. The pseudo swearing is awesome! The characters are a wild mix that keeps it interesting. I did love it, so you ask, "why only 4 stars?". Fair question. A couple tiny things. A few scenes didn't quite make sense, as in I felt like a few sentences were missing. There's also a negative bite to some of the interactions. Again, I feel like I'm missing something that turns trusting or friendly relationships to not so much and back again. It's like little anomalies in the interactions. It isn't big. The books are still a ton of fun!! I'm absolutely continuing the series! Definitely worth getting sucked into this world. You'll love it!

Naida, the Keeper of Artifacts, doesn't seem to get much time to actually develop her skills as a Keeper since her way-too-short apprenticeship. She barely has time to recover from one incident before the next unfolds. The paranormals don't seem inclined to cut her much slack either. This set of three reads has it all except the kitchen sink - fairies, gargoyles, witches, inter dimensional travel and some nasty magical artifacts. And the Powers That Be might just be corrupt! These are a fun, fantastical read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

this book had a great idea behind it however there are a few "holes" where by you are left teetering on the edge. That would be fine if there were some inkling that they would be expanded and brought to fruition
