Just when I thought I was starting to hit my stride in this magical artifact librarian gig, everything turns topsy turvy. Several dangerous and toxic artifacts escape from the Powers That Be and one of them lands at Croakies. Because, of course it does. The artifact has cracked Croakies right down the middle and there doesn’t seem to be any way to fix it.

In a desperate and potentially deadly move, my crew and I are going on a quest for magical objects that the resident out-of-the-box thinkers believe might seal the crack.

I have no idea if the items will solve our problem. But I’m desperate enough to give it a try.

I only hope we all survive to find the cure.

Naida is the Keeper of the Artifacts that's held in the library where she works. When one of friends tries to enter but falls. When she goes out to check. There's a crack running from Croakies’ front. This isn't good. Her boy friend who is a detective and gargoyle in the supernormal branch of the Enchanted Police Department, comes he tries to help. His suggestion is to go to the trolls and orgres. The King send his Robk Meister who talks here they need lacey rich from near the earth's core So

What starts as a small crack in the bookstore floor quickly spreads, widening and deepening all across the store, spilling out into the streets of the city of Enchanted and beyond. Falling through the cracks! Croaked is cracking and so is the rest of Enchanted. Dangerous artifacts are to blame but even the Council cannot figure out how to stop the destruction. If Naida, Grym, and the others don't find a solution the world as they know it will end, and if they do will the Council agree to it? This is one of my favorite magical series. The action is non-stop, the story is imaginative, and the characters are memorable. I never know what is going to happen next.
