About this ebook

Looking For Group is a fantasy satire that lampoons everything from Lord of the Rings and World of Warcraft to Lord of the Memes, Rick Astley. Richard, the undead warlock, brings the black comedy, while Cale, our elven hero, gives it heart, combining to form LFG's trademark black heart comedy.

Issue #1, in which a naive and chatty elf hunter meets an insane undead warlock and the two set out on an adventure. Kind of. Not really. But they do find an orc (half-orc?) priestess and a bull guy. He's a guy but also a bull. There's dragons and soldiers and death and action… are you reading it yet or do I have to keep going?

The book is amazing to read, it gives the feel of holding the hard bound book in your digital hands. The pages are bright and laid out beautifully. The layout made this wonderful world easily read and viewed. I can not wait for the next book. The humor and the action was intense. I love Richard with his sarcastic sense of humor and violence. Kal may be the main hero, but his clueless ideals and goody too shoes attitude will collide greatly. This is a true piece of pop culture.

Oddly a little less satisfying than reading it on their website. It's a fun story nonetheless, with witty subversions and twists to established tropes. And I absolutely adore how compact and self contained each of the chapters are, yet builds on the story when all put together. I read this on a small tablet, so the art work felt a bit messy, but then I imagine it might be rectified if you read it on a bigger screen. Last but not the least, omg Mr. Crollo 😂
