I rarely write reviews, as so often this genre tends to be so predictable. Well done Ms Robin. In fact, please excuse my abrupt closing as book 2 is calling. To all: give this one a chance.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I will definitely be reading more. I couldn't put it down. From start to finish I stayed totally engaged. Looking forward to more!

Well written, good structure, strong characters. Could use more details/description. It's enticing, but not enveloping. Worth reading.

Robin Briar, a slave to the paranormal genre, is already writing more about Jess the witch maiden and her supporting cast of werewolves in the 'Sorcery & Shifters' series. Robin is assisted by a fussy feline familiar who insists on a tight schedule, so less daylight for the author means more stories for you. Who knew a black & white rescue cat could be so demanding?
