I've enjoyed a few of the author other books but not this one. I understand why Vi doesn't want to marry cuz of her mom but not even dating just so she doesn't have to "rely" on them/him and doesn't even want to try gets old after so long. she is naive

Funny love story. Gunnar's way of getting what he wants is inventive and hilarious, though it did have consequences. Fortunately Vi didn't let him suffer long or waste much time to start their happy ever after.
