About the author

Living in Minnesota, surrounded by lakes, Minnesota Lakes Writers can’t help creating stories of being up North at the cabin, in town at one of the city lakes or Minnesota’s own massive Lake Superior.  No matter what time of year it is, there is always something going on at the lake.  Hey, it’s Minnesota!  Whether you are sitting on a dock listening to loons calling, taking a leisurely walk around a lake, cruising the lake on a boat or just sitting on a beach, for writers, ideas form and stories begin.

These writers enjoy getting together to set in motion scary stories to be told under the evening stars at a beach campfire or on the frozen ice of Minnesota’s winter lakes. And, of course, romances set on sandy lakeshores or on boats skimming over gentle waves.

Minnesota Lakes Writers write stories about Minnesota and its lakes encompassing romance, mystery, and fantasy.  Our goal is to enjoy each others love of writing and tell stories about Minnesota and its 10,000 lakes.  And since there are so many, it may take us a while!
