Reg Kray, an inside account by Reggie Kray's wife Roberta, discovers who the real Reg Kray was, deconstructing the man lost beneath the layers of attitude and opinion, exaggeration and distortion, destined to spend so much of his life behind bars. As Reg's confident, Roberta was closer to him than anyone, enabling her to write frankly about the Reg she knew, how he became such a vilified figure and what he really thought about his past and his strange fame.
Drawing on official documents, Reg's correspondence and their own conversations over the years, Roberta reveals a previously unkown side of Reg's personality, his conflict with Ron and his first tragic marriage. She also details the development of her own love affair, from their first meeting in 1996 to Reg's death in October 2000.
