About this ebook

"Daisy and the Front Man is a great continuation of this fun series. I love getting to meet the guys of Seconds to Juliet and the girls in their lives. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that they are a made up band and not a real band filling the pages of teeny-bopper magazines and “clogging” the airwaves with their bubblegum pop songs. I can’t wait to read the next one!" -Joli, Actin Up with Books

When Daisy Morris finds out she’s spending the summer with her dad, bodyguard for Seconds to Juliet—the hottest boy band around—she knows it couldn’t be more perfect. But not because she’s a fan. Oh, no. Because ever since front man Trevin Jacobs completely humiliated her by standing her up for homecoming, Daisy is out for a little revenge. Yup, Trevin Jacobs is goin’ down...

When one of his bandmates bets Trevin he can’t make Daisy—the gorgeous but surprisingly ice-cold daughter of their bodyguard—fall in love with him, it’s a bet he can’t resist. Sure, Daisy won’t give him the time of day for reasons he can’t understand, and her dad’s hell-bent against his little girl spending time with a superstar. But the terms are set, and Trevin is determined to make Daisy fall...hard.

But every front man should know never to trust a girl with a pretty face...

I like the overall idea of the Backstage Pass Series. But I have some issues with the characterisation in the first three books. Both characters in "Daisy and the Front Man" are rather juvenile. Although we are 'told' that Trevin is mature for his age, the author does not 'show' us that this is truly the case. Participating in a bet at a girl's expense isn't even close to my idea of maturity. I think the author could have left that part out, since the rest of the book already contains enough drama. Daisy takes getting revenge pretty far. But this just goes to show that it is better to avoid making assumptions. I'm glad that Daisy is the one to eventually grovel at the end of the story.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Daisy seemed a bit immature but then again she acted like a high school kid still growing up ... Trevor also had his flaws but was a great leading character... in the end I loved their sweet (love) journey. Some parts where funny, sad and totally swoon worthy romance.

Great read! The last place Daisy Morris wants to be for her summer break is on a tour bus with S2J! After front man Trevin Jacobs caused her ultimate humiliation in front of her entire school by not showing up as promised for the prom, she have vowed to hate him forever! Trouble is, he's a really nice guy and giving him the cold shoulder gets harder and harder! This was very well written and I really enjoyed the characters. The story moves along at a great pace as well. Overall a very entertaining YA read that I definitely recommend.
