This was a great addition to the series. There are still a lot of twist and turns regarding Ira’s death and who is responsible. So much mystery and intrigue that it kept me glued to my kindle. Can’t wait to see how everything turns out in the next book.

Ok, if this is the first book you've read in the series you won't be able to experience the extent of the rich emotions built into this series that culminate here. The author does an amazing job summing up our story so far but you really need to read the others to appreciate the whole picture. Bishop Lund has always loved Raven Auberon from the first moment he saw her but she was his mentor's daughter and Bishop made the excuses to himself that he had too much respect for Ira to act on them. After Ira's death his guilt kept him from making a move but he always made a vow to himself to protect her no matter what. But, does Raven really need protection? Raven's interest and feelings for Bishop have grown from crush to undeniable attraction in the years since her fathers death. Our couple has been denying themselves and underestimating their own capabilities for too long. The pay off here is amazing. The growing intrigue surrounding her fathers past, why he arranged things the way he did and the ultimate question, how are they going to bring his killer to justice add to the labyrinth of twists in this plot that bring us to the penultimate conclusion.... in the next book!!! Just a teeny cliffhanger but if you've gotten this far you know it had to happen that way. I can't believe I have to wait another month for the conclusion! Loved this story. Out of all the stories beforehand I think Raven and Bishop story was the sweetest. I think this is due to Raven and her kind heart and Bishop her loving bodyguard and partner. Yeah we got the mystery still going on and its getting closer to being solved but I really enjoyed reading Raven and Bishop claiming each other. Their romance was special.
