About the author

Rajni Hatti-Kaul is Senior Lecturer, Department of Biotechnology, Center for Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Lund University, Sweden. The author or coauthor of 60 scientific papers, several book chapters, and two books, she received the M.Sc. (1979) and the Ph.D. (1984) degrees from the University of Bombay, India. Bo Mattiasson is Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Center for Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Lund University, Sweden. The author or coauthor of more than 550 professional publications and five books, he received the M.Sc. (1971) and Ph.D. (1974) degrees from Lund University, Sweden.
