About this ebook

Your next journey could be your last...

When a packed commuter train runs over a body on a stretch of track known to locals as ‘Suicide Mile’, it soon transpires that the man was a victim of a calculated murder.

As the investigation evolves and a pattern of murders is uncovered, Detective Sergeant Kay Hunter realises the railway’s recent reputation may be the work of a brutal serial killer.

With a backlog of cold cases to investigate and attempting to uncover who is behind a professional vendetta against her, Kay must keep one step ahead of both the killer and her own adversaries.

When a second murder takes place within a week of the first, she realises the killer’s timetable has changed, and she’s running out of time to stop him…

Perfect for readers who love Lisa Regan, DK Hood and Karin Slaughter, Will to Live is the second book in a murder mystery series from USA Today bestselling crime fiction writer Rachel Amphlett featuring Kay Hunter – a detective with a hidden past and an uncertain future…

What readers are saying about Will to Live:

"One of the top crime thriller series out there. If you like your crime thrillers with a twist of psychological suspense and a smattering of procedure and a hint of hostility and grudges, then Will to Live is one for you! Fast paced, twisty and hooking you in from the start" Chapter in my Life

"Another thrilling, adrenaline-pumping ride" Goodreads

"A fast-paced detective thriller where the personal issues, Kay’s secret investigation and the case of the psychopathic serial killer are entwined in a provocative and fascinating storyline" Bits About Books

"I really, really love this series! I absolutely love Kay Hunter! She has just the right mix of professionalism and dedication but with a vulnerability that draws you to her." My Chestnut Reading Tree

"Starts with a bang and the tension gathers momentum!" Bibliophile Book Club

It was my first novel... bit nervous cuz I have tried reading books but wasn't really getting hold of the story... this was different I was able to visualise the sorry in my head as if it played like a film.... It was a brilliant experience reading it..the sorry grasped me into it soo much that I read the last 23 chapters in a single day... brilliant story looking forward to more now.... The author has done a very good job in explaining things in detail in a way the reader can visualise things appropriately.... it was an extremely fun experience. Thank you

What a surprise! This book grabbed my interest from the first page and hasn't let go. Now, if you'll excuse me I'm about to finish it and then check out others by her. I'm enjoying this book. Haven't enjoyed anything as much since I discovered the Cormoran Strike books by Robert Galbraith ( JK Rowling ).
