About this eBook

Lexi

My world didn't just come crashing down--it crushed me.

Secrets and lies hurt.

And they weigh a ton.

Now, I'm left to pick up the scattered pieces and go on.

Then, when I think there might be a light at the end of the tunnel--that too, burns out.

And I'm left with only myself to rely on, in a sea of disappointment.

Learning how to straighten your spine and hold your head up high--when it feels impossible--are tough lessons to learn.

But I do it.

Because I've been working too hard to give up on my dreams now.

Oh my gosh! This was EVERYTHING! Hot, funny, angsty and heartbreaking, all amid a beautiful story of love, friends and family. This is definitely the very best duet this author has ever written. I was completely captivated by these characters and the manner in which Ms. York addressed their problem as well as their resolution and ultimately a set of the most incredible epilogues I could ever ask for.

Lexie's and Ryan's story is about how addiction can ruin your life. Also showed how brave Ryan was in admitting and looking for help to cure his addiction. Love the support he and Lexie got from their fellow teammates. Wes also dealt with his demons. The love of family and friends warmed my heart. Loved the bonus epilogue.

(4.5 Stars) Pucked Up and Married picks up where One Night Puck ends. Lexi left Trey; nobody knows why—she’s not talking about it. Most of Lexi’s team turns against her, supporting Trey, who insists he’s done nothing wrong and doesn’t want a divorce. Can Trey win Lexi back? I enjoyed Trey and Lexi’s story. Some HUGE secrets came out. Trey was in denial; I wondered if he’d ever wake up and get his act together. It’s a rough road, but they get their HEA. (I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC)

About the author

Jessa lives in a very non-descript, unassuming town filled with the best kind of people. Most days, she can be found in the stands of various soccer fields, cheering her on Youngest, or discussing books with her Oldest (who is an English Honors student).

At night, if she's not up burning the midnight oil, Jessa enjoys snuggling up to her real-life chef hubby and watching his latest pick for a cheesy romance movie. He always chooses the best ones. (after he cooks supper, of course).
