About this eBook

This book is a historical fantasy, first published in 1906. Set in different periods of English history, the ten stories in this book are told to two children by people magically plucked out of history by self Puck, or by Puck himself. They range from authentic historical novella to children's fantasy. Each story is bracketed by a poem which relates in some manner to the theme of the story.

About the author
