Honestly, I don't see the point of continuing this series after the 8th book. The 8th book had a perfect ending even though it was really confusing. The 4th book also had a perfect ending so the author could have just stopped there. All the mysteries were solved. Now the plot is really confusing and it just lost my interest. I mean how can the girl who knew all of the PLL's secrets and resemble Ali in a lot of ways actually be a total stranger? It doesn't make any sense. Also why would the exchange student, Klaudia, openly admit to Aria that she wants to sleep with Aria's boyfriend? How can Emily look into Chloe's face after what Chloe's father did to her? Why couldn't she create a scandal? I feel really sorry after what happened with Spencer's and Zach's friendship. But on the other hand, wasn't Zach supposed to be gay? He sure didn't act like it so he might be lying or still confused.

I'm currently rewriting the show as I read these books. BOTH are good, some things left out with all the books as far as putting them into the show is concerned but that just adds to the intrigue
