I’m a sucker for reality TV and anything that takes us behind the scenes of the entertainment industry. But, Donovan had come across as a bit of a conceited jerk in the previous books, so I was a little worried about what I was getting myself into. The beginning of this book fed into my fears. However, the story quickly became more complex. I suddenly found myself invested in learning how Donovan and Melissa were going to make this complicated situation work for them. The ending is super sweet and I’m feeling a touch sad to let these characters go now. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.

Nick and Donovan returned from a beautiful trip to the Yucatan Peninsula, where their best friend Brian just got married. Wondering aloud which of them would marry next, they turned it into a million dollar bet. So now Donovan Fitz is in front of a boardroom filled with television producers. He is pitching his idea to them that he, as both a CEO and the most eligible bachelor of the gaming industry, needs to find a wife. If they can put this into a reality TV show, it will generate lots of interest in his video game business as well as winning the bet with Nick! The timing was perfect! Nick had already put one of his developers to work on a matchmaking app, so Donovan needed to move quickly on this TV show. Donovan kept his eye on a honey blonde woman who was talking with the producer sitting beside her from Perspective Studios. They appeared to like the idea, but the man raised his voice to comment that she was junior and had never headed a project like this before. When an experienced producer agreed to oversee the young woman’s project, they decided to let her go with it. Melissa Hampton would be the producer of his new reality show! He invited her to his home that evening to begin brainstorming the show. Donovan and Melissa give in to the attraction they have both felt, and she finds out a few weeks later that she is pregnant! Donovan immediately wants to manipulate this event into his plan to boost ratings by incorporating the new twist to the story into the show! It comes down to whether he will put the show’s success before Melissa’s reluctance to be in front of the cameras! Will he choose the reality show or the woman and family he can love forever? This was another cute story in this series. It was difficult at the start to trust Donovan’s motives since he was so emphatic about the reality television show to promote his company and his side-bet with Nick. But the reader had hope that Melissa’s pregnancy would change him – for better or worse! Not being sure what he would choose helped move the story line along as the reader waited to see how each would respond to the situation. Pregnant by the Billionaire was written by Leslie North. Book 3 is about Donavan and Melissa. I actually ended up reading this story first. This book is about love at first sight and falling in love. On the first night Donavan and Melissa attraction was so strong that they had sex. That night they created their baby. The only problem is that Donavan is on a TV show to find a wife and Melissa is the producer. Now they have to work Melissa and the baby into the show but she doesn't like being in the spotlight. I love how these two try so hard to fight their growing feelings for each other especially when she starts to show. The book was fun to read. It gives you an ideal of what happens behind the scenes on those reality shows. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good romance story.
