Paranormal is not a genre I’m drawn to but I do love Damien and Nikki Stark so I was excited to read Possess Me (Stark Ever After Series #8). I wasn’t disappointed and even though this novella was a quick read it still packed a mighty punch. We back with Nikki and Damien on Catalina Island for an auction of Nikki’s favourite movie star who death is still a mystery. She is surprised with a gift of the cottage where the movie star died and that’s when things get real interesting……..

3.5stars—POSSESS ME is the eight instalment and novella in J Kenner’s contemporary, adult STARK EVER AFTER erotic, romance series focusing on billionaire businessman Damien Stark, and his wife Nikki Fairchild-Stark.POSSESS ME is a story of obsession and possession, danger and madness, spirits and revenge. The premise is intriguing but predictable; the romance is provocative; the characters are familiar and desperate but sadly, I am disappointed in the paranormal direction of the story.

What started as a fun weekend away at a charity auction, with memorabilia of a famous actress and a surprise gift from Damien, turned into a nightmare for the Starks. I always enjoy a Niki and Damien fix from J Kenner and this novella includes a haunting spin!
