Dear Colleen, please stop doing this to me!! The heartbreak I experience from this series is real. "Point Of Retreat" is the second book in the slammed series and it is another wave of emotional moments. I really enjoy books that can bring out my feelings. I love that even after their family got smaller after "Slammed" their family got bigger in this one. I enjoyed the many real life situations that I find relatable in these stories, which makes my connections to the characters stronger.

Sometimes it's difficult to put into words an experience, this is one of those occasions. So many times, I just broke down and sobbed. After all they had endured so much, the car accident just about did me in!! I should have never doubted how it would end. Ya done GOOD, Colleen.

Love this book series. Deals with some real situation in a not so sappy way. Great read. Can be read separately, but really is better if you read Slammed first. You'll fall harder in love.
