Mr. Broody

I have been looking forward to listening to Mr Broody since Henry and Bhodi were introduced in Mr Heartbreaker. JF Harding and Brooke Bloomingdale were great as Henry and Jade. Henry has never forgotten Jade.She was his first love.She left and never came back. Jade is back in town temporarily to help her family.She doesn't want Henry to see her. When she ends up taking a job as a teacher and Bhodi walks into her classroom she knows she cannot avoid Henry anymore. As Jade and Henry work through their feelings and the past,Bhodi and his teammates make a plan to get them together.They get to their happily ever after with everyone's help. There was laughter,emotions,steam,cuteness overload,found family,team banter and support,friendships and a happily ever after. I loved Bhodi's POV and i also love that all the guys have separate narraters. I cannot wait for the next book in the series. Thank you Piper Rayne for another fabulous story. Gosh, I love this book! Henry and Jade have had their histories so far back and with Jade's issue, I think Henry tried to do what he thought it would be a right thing for her. But for Jade, what Henry did was more like he pushed her away so she had tried her best to stay away for so long. When Fate (A.K.A. Piper and Rayne) brings them back together in a form of a second chance for a single dad sports romance, their love needs a lot to prove but it definitely is worth fighting for. That is why I'm totally agree with Piper and Rayne that their love story is emotional and heartfelt. But it isn't just that! Piper and Rayne also gave us a new kind of POV in a form of Bodhi! It's so good and fun to read his POV though and it helps reducing the tension of Jade and Henry's history. Actually it isn't just Bodhi who helps but all of Jade's family members and Henry's teammates (and Kyleigh) also help. I really love them!

Mr. Broody is the second book in The Nest series and I have been waiting patiently for Henry's story. What made this book a must-read were the chapters from Henry's son, Bodhi's, POV and that it is a second chance romance which is my favourite trope. Piper Ryane has given us an emotional storyline, great banter between MCs and secondary characters and a few laughs a long the way. Henry is a pro hockey player for the Chicago Falcons and a single dad after adopting his son. Now he is face to face with the only woman that he has ever loved, Jade. They grew up together and fell in love. When Henry became a pro he shattered Jade's heart when he told her to leave. Jade has always loved Henry but there are trust issues and now seeing hm face to face, all those feelings that she suppressed have risen to the surface. When they are set up to spend time together, feelings are shared, truths are told and lives are changed but can they trust one another with each other's hearts?
