This book is intended for artists with some painting experience who wish to develop their technique, style and outlook. It is a book to make them think and to push the technical and personal boundaries of what they believe they can achieve in paint. Mike Chaplin is one of the viewers most popular art experts on Watercolour Challenge and is also the presenter on a video of painting tips collected from the programmes. He has taught in several art schools and now lectures at an adult education college. He writes regularly for magazines, including The Artist, and has contributed to various publications. This is his first book.
