Pravin Tayade was born on August 11, 1976, in the village of Wagholi in the Amravati district of Maharashtra, India. His formative years were characterized by a profound aspiration to make a meaningful contribution to his homeland. This aspiration impelled him to enlist in the armed forces upon completing his tenth-grade education. At the tender age of 18, in the year 1995, he joined the Indian Army as a resolute soldier, dedicating his life to the service of the nation. A stalwart in the army, he served for 18 years and retired as a Havaldar from the illustrious 5th Battalion of the Mahar Regiment in 2012. Driven by an unwavering commitment to national service, he later found his calling in the Amravati Rural Police Department.
