A reread of this book allowed me to realise why I never finished it the first time I read it. Ann, has been crushing on Jason, her boss, aka Jake for a minimum of two years and done nothing about it. He apparently had the hots for her and also did nothing about it. Then after handing in her notice, to a morning meeting, the night before, they stop for a walk along the beach and, they kiss for the first time. He visits her in her hotel room later that night, and starts referring to her as baby. Well, that scene must have been the most unfeeling, go through the motions scene I have ever read or tried to imagine based on an authors writing. Ann kept insisting she was not loud, her focus veered off to his knee injury at one point and, she was more concerned with how big her backside was. There was nothing that made one feel there really was a connection between the two either romantically or physically. The writing style is just bland and uninspiring.

So, I'd love to give this more stars, but it left me wanting more. Way too fast paced. I liked that we didn't have to suffer through a long wait til they discovered each other, ahem, that they both felt the same. It was just over too fast... But, luckily there are a ton more books of hers to read! I'm already on to the next!

i loved this book. It was incredible, the storyline was perfect. Just a few errors here and there, but hey we're all human right?.
