About this eBook

Falling in love with a cowboy wasn’t part of the deal…

Jackson Marshall feels stuck, but with only one local rodeo success fifteen years ago etched into his buckle, he’s uncertain how to get out of his brother’s shadow and make a name for himself in Deer Creek. What’s more, the family needs him to make nice with city slicker Jill Henley to continue building their ranch’s brand—a merger with trouble stamped all over it.

Jill Henley is eager to prove herself with this multimillion-dollar project for her boss’s Steel Born company. She can handle the pressure, but the Marshall family’s request to partner with playboy Jackson to get the contract? It’s enough to set anyone’s stilettos on a path to the nearest city.

Then a teenager arrives at the ranch and upends Jackson’s life with his secret. As Jackson sacrifices his lifestyle to step up as a dad, Jill starts to see this small town—and her fiercely proud cowboy—in a different light. They might just find what they’ve been looking for all along—in each other’s arms.

One Lucky Cowboy is book 2 in the Marshall Brothers of Texas series by Kristine Lynn and a great addition to this series. 4.5 stars Next up is Jackson Marshall, who has gave up his rodeo career to help with the family ranch when he was needed but now he wants out! Except now he is helping with a new venture and working with city girl Jill Henley. Sparks fly, past heartbreaks, a surprise nobody saw coming, love hate relationship and maybe finding their HEA…only time will tell…

There is so much going on in this book creating a great read. Characters clash, each with personal debates and desires. Brothers Jax and Bennett have different goals, neither wanting compromise. Maggie is experiencing a high risk pregnancy and fully depends on her partner in business to carry so much weight. Jill is trying to accommodate Maggie but yearns to return to the big city. She is also falling for Jax who is falling for her but has lacked complete communication with her. Can the clashes be resolved before by everyone before they are all hurt? I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The story follows Jackson, Jax who is helping the family by stepping in to help run it. . Story is also following Jill who has been called in to help others in the family to retain what they have and to make it a bigger better place than ever before. There are lots of twists and turns in this story that really make it oh a good read. There's also a part where A father is told he has a son and he had no idea. Love the part with grandfather has offered his house to when they want to visit. ...
