Not believing in fairy tales, true love or magic, she is naturally skeptical. She meets Jack, Gossamer Falls' police chief and rumored playboy extraordinaire, and they have what both jaded parties think will be a one time hookup. Soon, the magic of the falls takes over, and their happily ever after sneaks up on them. Well-written, this second in the series is a delightful read. Jack isn't what the people who think they know him think he is at all. Rosalie walks in knowing exactly what she is looking for, and finds so much more. While it is part of a series, it may be read as a stand alone, although the reader would be better served by reading them all. This is a one click worthy book. One Enchanted Evening is book 2 in the Gossamer Falls series by Tara Wyatt and oh my…what a hot read! Up next is Jack Sheppard and Rosalie Crawford’s story of two people who are just into one night stands, flings due to their pasts. Until they meet and the magic of Gossamer Falls sends fate to show them there is more to life, happiness and love! Swoon worthy, Family dynamics, rock star video, and so much more that you just keep reading til the last page.

They both are packing baggage… I liked this book. Jack is a single dad after his divorce and he’s also the chief of police of Gossamer Falls. He meets Rosalie when she’s passing thru on a scout (note, a location scout would actually be the one to find a loc for a music video). Rosalie has abandonment issues after her pops hit the road. She’s only too happy to hook up with Jack. It’s not until later that she realized he’s got a kiddo. Recommend.
