About this eBook

Originally released as a weekly/bi-weekly series on the blog publishing platform Medium, it was later compiled into a single short story.

---

The United States is gone. Society has collapsed. But family is ever the constant. You can always count on family to protect you and be there for you, even when the world as you know has passed on.

Or can you?

Four siblings, each a power in their own right will soon come together to celebrate a wedding. But it's not that simple; with family it never really is. There's hate. There's revenge. There's ambition. There's a thirst for conquest.

Separated by distance and their ideals what will happen when they reunite?

About the author

Heinreich T. Sioson was born in a-place-you-would-never-guess but proudly hangs his hat in Jersey City, New Jersey. A graduate of Rutgers University, his passion for putting pen to paper drove him to the writer's desk. When not writing science fiction and other stories much of his time is spent in nearby New York.

If you can't find him there or in New Jersey, you'll most likely find him in Maryland, the place he lovingly refers to as home.

Since publishing his first science fiction story story, "A Life in Snow," he has released "Of Wars & Weddings," a story set in a dystopian future.
