This pocket-sized paperback is one of the thirty titles published for 2019 Hong Kong International Poetry Nights. The theme of IPHHK2019 is "Speech and Silence". From 19–24 November 2019, 30 invited poets from various countries gathered in Hong Kong to read their works based on the theme "peech and Silence." Included in the anthology and box set, these unique works are presented with Chinese and English translations in bilingual or trilingual formats. Poets include Ana Luisa Amaral (Portugal), Maxim Amelin (Russia), Renato Sandoval Bacigalupo (Peru) , Jen Bervin (USA), Ana Blandiana (Romania), Tamim Al-Barghouti (Palestine), Abbas Beydoun (Lebanon), Milosz Biedrzycki (Poland), Derek Chung (Hong Kong), Louise Dupr? (Canada), Forrest Gander (USA), Hwang Yu Won (South Korea), Maozi (PRC), Mathura (Estonia), Sergio Raimondi (Argentina), Ana Ristovi? (Serbia), K. O autorovi

Ana Lu?sa Amaral (Portugal) has published over thirty books of poetry, a play, a novel, essays, and several books for children. Her works are translated into over twenty languages (Chinese included) and published in several countries, such as Brazil, Colombia, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, the United States, and Venezuela. She was awarded national and international prizes and distinctions, among which the Medal for Services to Literature from the cities of Paris and Porto, the Correntes d'Escritas / Casino da P?voa Prize, the Giuseppe Acerbi Prize for Poetry, the Great Prize of the Portuguese Association of Writers, the Prize PEN for Fiction, the Fondazione Roma International Prize, as well as the Prize of Essay Jacinto Prado Coelho. Amaral teaches at the University of Porto and her academic research fields are Feminist and Queer Studies.
