I loved reading this story. I grew curious about the Survivalist's sons after Z's book (from the shadowlands series) and I'm so glad she decided to give them their own series. The start of their story broke my heart but the more I read these books the more I enjoy cheering these stubborn Alaskan men on I can't wait to read more x

When I heard that Cherise Sinclair was releasing a new series I was beside myself with excitement. Whenever I see the name Cherise Sinclair, it is an automatic purchase. This book was totally brilliant, from start to finish. I didn’t want to put it down and was so annoyed when real life conspired to stop me from reading it in one session. I have always loved the characters that Ms. Sinclair writes about, the way she develops and layers them and her story lines are amazing. Set in a small town in Alaska, Not a Hero ticked all the boxes for me. Gabe and his band of adopted brothers Bull, Caz and Hawk are characters that I cannot wait to learn more about . This was Gabe and Audrey's story and what a story it was. Not a Hero was at times a hard book to read. Emotional and inspiring it was great to see Gabe and Audrey confront their pasts and together forge a new path to happiness, they both deserved it. This was a fabulous start to a new series and I am excited to see what Ms.Sinclair has in store. Thank you Cherise Sinclair for yet another masterpiece, it was superbly written and I LOVED it.

I really enjoyed this story! This is a great start to a new series, set in a wonderful town, full of colourful characters, and they are just starting to find their way, to be a town. Of course, they have some dangerous and unstable neighbours, but that just enhances the setting This is the story of the new police chief, who is sure, he is there temporarily. His two brothers, they hope he will stay. Of course, he meets, and is attracted to someone, and it is obvious, she has more of a story than she is showing to them. She is also here, temporarily. Lots of sexy things happen, and some truly sweet things happen, and some really bad and dangerous things happen. Of course, we get our happily ever after, and it left me feeling that happy feeling, and I loved it!
