That’s what Liberty needs.
The woman is as foolish as she is brave and has a wild heart that’s been a thorn in my side since she arrived on the island. She has me breaking all the rules I set for myself while demanding I break more. The easiest thing would be to distance myself, allow her fate to be out of my hands.
Problem is, I still want her. And I don’t see that changing.
I’ll have to find a way to tame her instead.

Part 2 of this trilogy had Liberty finally off the island, with Angel. We learn more about each character's pasts, and Angel's family specifically. The questionable bond and trust between Lib and Angel continues to grow. There's surely feelings there, but can he truly save her from the island life forever? With so many people involved, it's hard to tell. There's a cliffhanger, but that little twist at the end has me wanting more! I can't wait to see how this story ends.

Liberty is still on the island. Her feelings for Angel have changed since Sawyer revealed Angel's part in her kidnapping. If she can gather the right information she will escape the island and take as many of the other slaves with her as she can. This second book of the series is quite different from the first book. It is well-written but lacks the eroticism and many other elements that I liked in the first book. I received an advance copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

Liberty is brave pushing Angel the way she does, he is at a loss, he knows he needs to tame her, just as things heat up we are left with another cliffhanger. Still loving this and can't wait to find out what will happen next. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Nicole Cypher is a hopeless romantic who enjoys reading gruesome thrillers but usually finds herself rooting for the villain. When you combine these traits, you get a dark romance author with a knack for writing plot twists, serial killers, mafia men, troubled heroes, and villains who still manage to win her over in the end.
